Ruedos Earns PL Rookie of Month Wednesday, September 1st , 2055 Youngster Mauro Ruedos emerged as the latest Patriot League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Kentucky deserved the honor, batting .348 with 8 home runs and 21 RBI. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Ruedos enjoy the limelight. Ruedos has a .305 average and a .345 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 138 hits, 27 home runs and driven in 81 runs. |
