Star of the Week Selected in PL Monday, June 26th , 2056 A battle-tested Raúl Hernández declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 34-year-old Georgia second baseman collected the Patriot League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .435 average, 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 8 runs scored. So far on the season Hernández is hitting .274 with 16 home runs, 43 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 61 hits and played in 66 games. |
