Bad News for North Carolina, Takahashi Injured Wednesday, October 25th , 2056 A blow for Hyotaru Takahashi today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7-8 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Takahashi suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the North Carolina Aviators are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Takahashi's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far in 37 appearances this season, Takahashi has recorded 16 wins and sustained 13 losses. He has pitched 251.2 innings, yielded 266 hits, fanned 222 and has a 4.04 ERA. |
