League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Kentucky Prevails Friday, November 10th , 2056 Kentucky Lions won a nail-biting series against the North Carolina Aviators 4-3, wrapping up the League Championship Series finale 4-3 at Lions Stadium. Lions shortstop Steve Boone was named the series MVP. He batted .333, drove in 11 runs and scored 3 to lead Kentucky into the next round of play. "Steve was real solid for us, real solid," said Lions manager . "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."
