Bears Anderson Smacks 5 Hits Sunday, July 13th , 2059 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Greg Anderson today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Mountain View Ballpark and paced the Bears to a 14-6 win over the Minnesota Mallards. After his dynamite batting performance, the Colorado right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Greg Anderson doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
