Selph Keeps Hit Streak Alive
Friday, September 26th , 2059
The streak is alive and well -- at least for today.

Ned Selph did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Albertson's Field today. For the last 30 games in a row, the 32-year-old left fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Idaho Steelheads beat the Texas Spurs 3-0 today.

"I'm happy I kept the streak going," Selph told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Idaho clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day."
Ned Selph struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and doubled in the 8th.

This season Selph is batting .319 with 7 home runs. His totals include 74 RBIs and 95 runs scored.
