Bridegrooms End Selph's Streak Thursday, October 2nd , 2059 Ned Selph's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 35 games today as the Idaho Steelheads dropped their contest with the Maryland Bridegrooms 3-2 at Bridegrooms Stadium. Selph failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Selph spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In 145 games this season Selph has compiled a .321 batting average with 198 hits and 7 home runs. He has also scored 98 times and knocked in 78 runs. |
