Knights Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, October 13th , 2059 The Ohio Knights players and coaches held a closed-door meeting today after the club was eliminated from postseason contention. "We just wanted to talk about the season and where we are right now and how we get to our ultimate goal," said a dejected Jon Cupit. "We don't want to have this feeling next season." The Knights have made the playoffs 0 times in their 47 years as a American Federation Baseball League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2052. In the last 10 seasons, the Knights have only made the playoffs once. |
