Great Stroke: Land Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, June 9th , 2060 No matter what the Pennsylvania Railroaders threw at him today, Mike Land hit it. He easily handled Railroaders pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Titans to a 7-3 triumph at PNC Park. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Land's quip, Railroaders skipper Mike Kritikos said he "would take him up on that next time." Mike Land singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Donnie Makanamaikai in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
