Martínez Launches Number 400 Saturday, July 24th , 2060 The Kentucky Lions defeated the Maryland Bridegrooms 9-1 yesterday in a game that featured Cisco Martínez's 400th career home run. In the clubhouse, the Lions shortstop spoke about the milestone achievement. "To be honest, I don't even remember my first home run," he said. "But this one I don't think I'll forget. Who knows if I'll hit another hundred, or fifty, or even ten?" On his historic day, Martínez banged out 1 hit in 5 at-bats and scored 1 run with 1 run batted in.
