4-Game Suspension for Resonance Contreras Monday, July 26th , 2060 Alfredo Contreras of Washington got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the Oregon Explorers. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Contreras for 4 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout. "Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Contreras obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him." This season Contreras is batting .200 with 38 RBIs, 37 runs scored and 15 home runs. |
