Colorado Catcher Picked FL Player of the Week Monday, August 28th , 2062 22-year-old Elliott Lenzen sent shock waves through American Federation Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Frontier League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Lenzen made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .632 average, 12 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 runs batted in. Where the Colorado Bears catcher goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Lenzen certainly made his mark last week. Lenzen is batting .301 this year with 6 home runs, 28 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 105 hits in 349 at-bats. |
