Ohio's Lyon Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, September 4th , 2062 At the age of 29, Bob Lyon might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Ohio third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .440 batting average. For his efforts Lyon collected the Patriot League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs last week in 6 games. This season Lyon has hit at a .238 clip and produced 54 runs batted in, 14 home runs and 40 runs. |
