Wild Card Clinched by Ontario Tuesday, October 16th , 2063 It wasn't quick or easy for the Ontario Blue Pirates, but they have clinched a berth in the postseason. While they couldn't capture the Patriot League North crown, the club has cinched up a wild card berth late in the season. "You come close to not getting a chance in the postseason and it starts to worry you," said closer Billy Snow. "This is a huge relief for our guys and we're going to celebrate it." The team will be looking for its 2nd American Federation Baseball League championship. |
