French Earns PL's Best Pitcher Honor Thursday, October 1st , 2065 It doesn't happen often, but it did in September. A reliever, Matt French, is the recipient of the Patriot League Pitcher of the Month award. The Bridegrooms bullpen ace starred with 6 saves in 11 relief appearances with a 3-0 record, logging 19 innings, 32 strikeouts, 6 walks and a 1.42 ERA. This year French has made 66 relief appearances, pitched 96.1 innings, and fashioned a 11-5 record with a 1.49 ERA. He has recorded 35 saves, struck out 130, and allowed opposing clubs to hit .164 when he is on the hill. |
