Delaney Wins Award for PL Dominance

Pat Delaney was dominant and cool under pressure this year, and his standout performance has earned the New York Empire closer recognition as the 2070 Patriot League Reliever of the Year.
"I was just doing my job, and my job is to get people out," said the 28-year-old out of New York.
The award winner made 67 relief appearances this year and had 39 saves. He fanned 75 batters in 72.2 innings, with 28 walks. He pitched to a record of 7 wins and 6 losses to go with his 2.23 ERA.
Kane Finzer of the Kentucky Lions finished second in voting, while Dusty Coughlin of the Ontario Blue Pirates finished third.
