Resonance Martínez Gone for Year Sunday, August 24th , 2042 The doctors have spoken and José Martínez of the Washington Resonance didn't like what he heard. The 28-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Martínez sustained his season-ending injury during the North Carolina Aviators game yesterday at The Boom Box. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Washington medical staff reported Martínez had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 12 months. This season in 9 starts José Martínez has a record of 3-2 with 27 strikeouts in 50.1 innings and a 4.47 ERA. |
