Injury Sidelines Jim Murdock For Year Saturday, September 13th , 2042 Jim Murdock has to call it a season. The New Jersey Athletics center fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the West Virginia Hollers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Murdock was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a severely strained hip muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. On the year Murdock has hit .244 with 15 home runs, 51 RBIs and scored 41 runs. |
