Warhawks Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, September 19th , 2042 Jesús Garbizo said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Illinois Warhawks after they missed the American Federation Baseball League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Illinois last appeared in the postseason in 2032. This is their 10th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 24 times in their 29-year history. |
