Woods Goes 5-for-5 Sunday, September 28th , 2042 It was a hits blitz for Ian Woods at New Hilltop Park today. The New York Twin Towers third baseman tore into the Virginia Diamond Club for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Diamond Club swept past the Twin Towers 7-0 to ruin Woods's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," New York manager Kevin Norris explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Ian was nice but it wasn't enough." Ian Woods singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and doubled in the 11th.
