Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, North Carolina Prevails Monday, October 20th , 2042 After their 4-3 win today over the West Virginia Hollers, the North Carolina Aviators will advance to the League Championship Series. Despite coming out on the losing side, the series MVP award went to West Virginia third baseman Jorge Béltre. Béltre told a reporter from the West Virginia Herald that he was disappointed in the loss, and hopes to be back next year competing for the Federation Cup Series North Carolina won the series 4-3.
