Lee, Lee Swap Teams Monday, November 17th , 2042 It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Kentucky Lions and Pennsylvania Railroaders finalized a trade today. Kentucky will send 34-year-old minor league 1B Eric Lee to the Railroaders, while the Lions will receive a 4th round draft pick. "We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," Lions general manager Zach Larson said. The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day. During his 1646-game career Lee has batted .278 and collected 1697 hits, 253 home runs and 875 RBIs. |
