League Punishes Pair for Fighting Sunday, April 19th , 2043 Dwight Nuijs of the Illinois Warhawks and Masuhiro Yamada of the Washington Resonance will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Warhawks-Resonance game at Todd Berry Memorial Field.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Nuijs and Yamada will begin serving them soon.
Nuijs's current batting average stands at .220 and he has chalked up 2 home runs and 7 RBIs.
