New York's Caraballo Stands out in Shutout
Friday, August 21st , 2043
"Good pitching beats good hitting" is an old baseball adage.

Well, good pitching also beats bad hitting.

Leonardo Caraballo of the New York Twin Towers proved the point at Arlington Park today, holding the Texas Isotopes to 2 hits in a complete game shutout victory.

"Caraballo made us look real bad today," Isotopes manager Texas GM CPU said in his postgame interview. "He was outstanding. He was down in the zone with all his pitches. Everything was sinking."

Caraballo had 7 strikeouts and gave up no walks as the Twin Towers took the 5-0 win.

This year Caraballo has made 25 starts, thrown 146.1 innings, fanned 99 batters and walked 36. His won-lost record is 9-10 with a 3.81 ERA.
