Peña Cracks 5 Hits
Friday, September 4th , 2043
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Georgia's 9-8 win over Illinois today, right fielder José Peña was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Todd Berry Memorial Field.

"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Peña said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."

José Peña hit a solo-shot off Quincy Baxter in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.

This year Peña has batted at a .308 pace with 85 hits, 17 home runs, 47 RBIs and scored 46 times.
