Dixon's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Friday, June 17th , 2044 Ron Dixon's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 3-for-6 in a 1-0 Kentucky Lions triumph over the Colorado Bears at Lions Stadium. The 26-year-old left fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Lions. Ron Dixon flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, flied out in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th. To date this season Dixon is hitting .333 with 10 home runs. |
