O'Day and Martínez Brawl, League Suspends Them Sunday, June 19th , 2044 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's California-New Mexico contest at Duck Dome. The Mallards Dylan O'Day and the Danger Héctor Martínez will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. In 66 games this season O'Day has compiled a .276 batting average with 69 hits and 10 home runs. He has also scored 23 times and knocked in 23 runs. This year Martínez has fanned 81 in 86.2 innings and collected a 5-6 record with a 4.05 ERA. |
