Davis on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Thursday, September 1st , 2044 Kevin Davis showed off his speed, his power and his plate discipline today at The Snake Pit, putting together all facets of his game to hit for the cycle in the Indiana win. The 26-year-old first baseman went 4-for-5, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to help the Vipers top the Maryland Bridegrooms by a score of 8-7. A jubilant Davis told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable." "Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-5 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible." For the day, Davis finished with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Kevin Davis hit a three-run home run off Ed Byrnes in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 10th.
