Bridegrooms Mathematically Out of Playoffs Saturday, September 3rd , 2044 Did anyone think the Maryland Bridegrooms had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Maryland last appeared in the postseason in 2038. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 28 times in their 31-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Bridegrooms have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
