Texas's Tony Johnston Suffers Setback Wednesday, October 19th , 2044 Tony Johnston is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a sprained thumb. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Isotopes sent the 28-year-old center fielder back to the doctors for reexamination. Johnston told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Johnston will now miss a minimum of 6 days. In 2044 Johnston has hit at a .346 clip with 197 hits, 28 home runs, 78 RBIs and has scored 101 times. |
