League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Kentucky Prevails Saturday, October 29th , 2044 The fans in Kentucky are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Colorado. The Kentucky Lions finished off the Colorado Bears 4-1 in the deciding game of the League Championship Series played at Lions Stadium. They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the Federation Cup Series. For his standout play, Kentucky left fielder Ron Dixon was voted the series' Most Valuable Player. He batted .500, drove in 6 runs and scored 6 to lead his club to victory. "We could never really figure out how to pitch to Dixon and that doomed us," said Bears manager .
