Reliever of the Year Goes to Tessier Thursday, November 10th , 2044 Florent Tessier was dominant and cool under pressure this year, and his standout performance has earned the Indiana Vipers closer recognition as the 2044 Frontier League Reliever of the Year. "I was just doing my job, and my job is to get people out," said the 31-year-old out of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The award winner made 75 relief appearances this year and had 35 saves. He fanned 116 batters in 92.2 innings, with 31 walks. He pitched to a record of 9 wins and 4 losses to go with his 1.55 ERA. |
