Super Swinger -- González Slams 5 Hits Sunday, April 9th , 2045 It was nearly a perfect day for Rubén González at Ebbetts Field South at Virginia Beach Diamond Club. Although the New York Twin Towers first baseman was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 7 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the Twin Towers from falling to the Virginia Diamond Club. Virginia spoiled his great day at the plate by taking a 4-3 win. Rubén González hit a two-run home run off José Rocha in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, flied out in the 10th, singled in the 13th and singled in the 15th.
