Diamond Club-Twin Towers Fight Nets 3-Game Suspensions Tuesday, June 13th , 2045 Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Virginia and New York game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Juan Ortíz of the Diamond Club and Greg Boyd of the Twin Towers have now been reprimanded and issued 3-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas. This season Ortíz is batting .185 with 13 RBIs, 12 runs scored and no home runs. Currently Boyd has 9 relief appearances, saving 0. His record is 3-2 with 26 strikeouts in 53.1 innings and a 3.04 ERA. |
