Murdock's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Sunday, July 2nd , 2045 Chalk up another one for Washington Resonance left fielder Alex Murdock. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Murdock went 2-for-4 today's game at The Danger Zone but saw his club defeated 5-2 by the host New Mexico Danger. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Resonance manager Trevor Larson said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Alex Murdock doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. On the year Murdock has hit .340 with 3 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 39 runs. |
