Ohio Loses Murdock for Year Wednesday, July 5th , 2045 The season is finished for Sid Murdock of the Ohio Knights. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Knights starting pitcher suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the New York Twin Towers. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. This season Murdock has worked 100.2 innings with 56 strikeouts en route to a 5-7 record and a 5.19 ERA. |
