Murdock Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 28 Tuesday, July 18th , 2045 After 28 games, Washington left fielder Alex Murdock saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 5 at-bats. However, the Resonance still managed to take the win, topping the Colorado Bears 4-3 at The Boom Box. "It was a good run," Murdock said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." To date this year Murdock is batting .353 with 4 home runs. |
