Blais Keeps Hit Streak Alive Tuesday, July 18th , 2045 The hitting streak for Indiana center fielder Devlyn Blais now stands at 20 games, but the Vipers dropped today's contest 6-5 to the Texas Isotopes. Blais went 1-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Devlyn Blais flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Percy Veenman in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th. For the year Blais is batting .337 with 5 home runs, 41 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
