Virginia Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Wednesday, September 13th , 2045 Fans of the Virginia Diamond Club have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Diamond Club have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 28 years as a American Federation Baseball League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2038. In the last 10 seasons, the Diamond Club have missed the playoffs 4 times. |
