Peck Strokes 5 Hits Sunday, October 8th , 2045 No matter what the Colorado Bears threw at him today, Roger Peck hit it. He easily handled Bears pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Lions to a 16-5 triumph at Lions Stadium. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Peck's quip, Bears skipper said he "would take him up on that next time." Roger Peck hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Víctor García in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
