North Carolina Sweeps Oregon Monday, November 6th , 2045 The North Carolina Aviators rolled over the Oregon Explorers 2-1 at Lowe's Field at Bojangles' Stadium to easily win the 2045 Federation Cup Series crown. North Carolina won in a walk and swept the series from the Explorers 5-0. It was their 2nd championship title. Winning manager praised his own club as well as the opposition, calling the Explorers "a fine team." "It wasn't as easy as it looked. We had to play good baseball to beat them," he said. "We always seemed to come up with the key hit at the right time and to make the plays on defense when we had to. That's how you win the Federation Cup Series."
