Darke Slams 5 Hits for Maryland Thursday, April 19th , 2046 Andy Darke found his groove in today's game versus the Pennsylvania Railroaders and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Maryland Bridegrooms, as the club lost the game, 11-10. The 25-year-old right fielder told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked." "I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Darke said. Andy Darke hit an RBI single in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. To date this year Darke is batting .359 with 1 home run.
