Warhawks Quincy Baxter Will Miss Season Saturday, May 5th , 2046 The season is finished for Quincy Baxter of the Illinois Warhawks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Warhawks starting pitcher suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Indiana Vipers. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal. Up to now Baxter has compiled an ERA of 4.66 with a 1-4 mark over 7 starts. He has 20 strikeouts in 38.2 innings and has held opponents to a .285 batting average. |
