Rocha Whitewashes New Jersey Friday, August 3rd , 2046 José Rocha had the New Jersey Athletics dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 3-0 shutout performance for the Virginia Diamond Club. He gave up 2 hits, issued 1 walk and had 6 strikeouts. New Jersey hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager said. "We just never figured him out."
