Coker Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Saturday, August 18th , 2046 Texas Isotopes first baseman Johnathan Coker banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Ohio Knights, 6-3. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Coker said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Johnathan Coker singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Currently Coker is batting .300 with 25 home runs and 65 RBIs.
