PL's Star Player Named Monday, August 27th , 2046 The hottest bat of the week belonged to New York shortstop José Gil. He went on a rampage last week against PL hurlers and rapped out 14 hits in 28 at-bats for a .500 average while hitting 2 home runs, driving in 5 runs and scoring 6 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Patriot League Player of the Week trophy. Gil was honored today at a press conference. In this current campaign Gil is hitting at a .273 clip with 7 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
