25-Game Hitting Streak for Kaufman Wednesday, August 29th , 2046 Billy Kaufman's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Colorado. The 34-year-old left fielder extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 25 games with a 2-for-4 performance against the Washington Resonance. The Bears took the game, 7-2. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Billy Kaufman grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. In 124 games this season Kaufman is batting .349 with 182 hits and 18 home runs. He has scored 80 runs and driven in 64. |
