Rehab Setback For Octávio Benítez Saturday, October 6th , 2046 Yesterday West Virginia center fielder Octávio Benítez sustained a setback in his recovery from a strained rib cage muscle. The Hollers medical staff told him it would be at least 1-2 weeks before he will be able to return to action. Benítez told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Benítez worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. This year Benítez is hitting .269 with 23 home runs. |
