No Hits for Murdock, Streak Ends at 33 Monday, May 27th , 2047
The 33-game hitting streak is over.
Washington Resonance left fielder Alex Murdock failed to get a hit today against the Maryland Bridegrooms and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 23-year-old went 0-for-4 in his club's 11-5 victory over the Bridegrooms at Bridegrooms Stadium.
"I think I only made it to 33 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak."
So far this season Murdock is hitting .352 with 5 home runs.
