New Mexico Rookie #1 Vote-Getter in FL Monday, July 1st , 2047 For a young man just making his way into the Frontier League, Les Richter has shown incredible poise and confidence over the past month, netting him the coveted Rookie of the Month Award. In June he fashioned a 3-1 mark and a 2.08 ERA. The New Mexico starter struck out 31 in 34.2 innings as he walked 5 and held opposing batters to a .203 average. This year Richter has made 16 starts, thrown 102 innings, fanned 74 batters and walked 17. His won-lost record is 10-2 with a 2.91 ERA. |
